Browsing the site
Browsing this site requires no account and triggers no collection on our part. The site consists of static pages: there is no database of visitors.
Like any web server, the one hosting this site may keep connection logs containing notably an IP address, for security and diagnostic purposes. These logs are managed by the host, are not used for audience analysis purposes, and are never cross-referenced with other information.
Forms
The forms on the site, contact and partnership, transmit nothing to a server. When you submit, your email software opens with a pre-filled email containing what you typed. Nothing is sent until you validate the sending yourself from your email client.
Messages received at the address contact@galsen.ai are kept for the time needed to process your request and follow up on the exchange. They are used for no other purpose and are not transmitted to anyone.
Newsletter
If you subscribe to the newsletter, your email address is used solely to send it to you. It is neither resold, transferred, nor used for anything else. Each mailing includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also request your removal by simple email.
Videos
The videos in the media library are hosted on YouTube. Their thumbnails are copied to our own server: as long as you do not play a video, no request is sent to YouTube and no cookie is set.
When you click to play a video, a YouTube player is loaded in « cookie-free » mode (youtube-nocookie.com). This mode limits tracking, but from this moment Google may collect technical information. This collection falls under Google's privacy policy, not ours.

This site links to third-party platforms: Hugging Face, GitHub, Zenodo, LinkedIn, training organizations. As soon as you follow one of these links, you leave our site and enter the scope of the privacy policy of the platform concerned.
Your rights
You have a right of access, rectification, opposition, and deletion of your personal data. To exercise it, simply write to contact@galsen.ai. We reply as soon as possible, bearing in mind that GalsenAI is a volunteer community.
These rights are guaranteed in Senegal by Law No. 2008-12 of January 25, 2008 on the protection of personal data. If you believe that your rights are not respected, you can contact the Personal Data Protection Commission (CDP). Residents of the European Union also benefit from the rights provided by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
