Meetups, workshops, hackathons and IndabaX: everything relies on volunteering and the support of organizations that share the ambition to grow AI skills in Senegal.

What you are supporting

  • An active community since 2018

More than 17,000 people follow GalsenAI, and meetups, workshops, and hackathons have been held regularly in Dakar for seven years.

  • IndabaX Senegal

The community's annual event brings together students, researchers, and professionals around AI applied to local realities.

  • Work that leaves a mark

The corpora published by the community for Wolof, Pulaar, and Serer are used well beyond Senegal. A partnership is part of this work.
